A bogey-free final round of 69 was enough to see off the competition and take home the first-placed cheque for $1.89 m (£1.46 m). The previous youngest winner was Adam Scott (Australia), who won the 2004 Players Championship aged 23 years 256 days. With this victory, Kim became only the fourth golfer to win two PGA Tour events before the age of 22 – along with Jordan Spieth, Sergio Garcia and Tiger Woods.
