Festive favourite "Petit Papa Noël", by Tino Rossi (France, 1907–83), has sold an estimated 5.7 million copies in the singer's homeland since its release in 1946. The song was written by Raymond Vincy and Henri Martinet and recorded by Rossi for the film Destins. It has reportedly sold more than 30 million copies around the world in the last 70 years.
