The most nationalities in a drum circle is 77, and was achieved by City of Stirling (Australia), during the Harmony Day Event at The Square in Mirrabooka, Western Australia, Australia, on 15 March 2019.

This attempt, during an event called Harmony Day, was produced by City of Stirling who wanted to showcase the cultural diversity in Western Australia. Of the 112 officially registered participants for this attempt, 77 different nationalities were represented from all over the world. Participants, while wearing their respective national dress/attire, were led by a professional African Percussion group named Akwaaba who provided over 100 African drums. Sitting just outside the official attempt drum circle was a primary school class who made their own drums to play along and join in the music.
