The largest tactile exhibit (aka “touch tank”) exclusively for horseshoe crabs (Limulidae family) is found in the Discovery Centre at the Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In terms of area, the entire system has a footprint of approximately 37.9 square metres (407.9 square feet) and holds a total water volume of 3,600 gallons (16,365 litres).
As of 28 April 2017, the Ripley's Aquarium horseshoe crab tank was home to 65 Atlantic horseshoe crabs – the largest member of the horseshoe crab family.
