Minecraft doesn’t seem like the best place to create realistic human body parts, given that Minecraft blocks are cuboids and human beings aren’t. However, that didn’t stop YouTuber Dave Solheim from building a giant human hand fashioned from 70,000 quartz blocks. Incredibly, each block was individually placed, with Solheim referring to a blueprint in order to build the structure one layer at a time. The project took 80 hours to complete and was uploaded to YouTube on 19 December 2016.
