Over 5,300 world-builders traded pick-axes for earplugs during Minecraft's Fire Fest concert from Jan 12-13, 2019. The in-game spectacle featured virtual performances over 50 acts, including headliners Ekali, ARTY, Luca Lush, and Hudson Mohawke. Those who couldn't get a front-row seat also had the chance to join in via the Fire Fest website and discord channel. In total, the landmark concert was heard by 87,754 Minecraft fans.
Fire Fest raised $1,750 in donations for the Trevor Project, an organization supporting the safety and wellbeing of LGBTQ students.
