The first licenced wrestling videogame was MicroLeague Wrestling (Micro League Multimedia Inc., 1987) for the Commodore 64 and Atari ST. It was licenced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), featuring a match between Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage on one side of the cassette tape and a match between Hulk Hogan and Paul Orndorff on the other. It’s also the only WWF/WWE wrestling videogame that features turn-based strategy gameplay.
