The largest camel racing tournament consists of 21,637 camels and was achieved by Saudi Camel Racing Federation (Saudi Arabia) in Taif, Saudi Arabia on 11 September 2024
This record was broken as part of the annual Crown Prince Camel festival which takes place from the 10th of August till 11 September. The tournament raises awareness in keeping with the natural habitat of camels, were all camels participating are tested by expert veterinarians to make sure they are healthy and mature to take part in the race.
