Brian K. Vaughan (USA) has won written four titles that have won Best New Series at the annual Eisner Comic Awards: Ex Machina, with Tony Harris and Tom Fesiter (WildStorm/DC) in 2005; Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight, with Joss Whedon, Georges Jeanty and Andy Owens (Dark Horse) in 2008; Saga, with Fiona Staples (Image) in 2013; and most recently Paper Girls, with Cliff Chiang (Image) in 2016.
Vaughan was inducted into the Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2015.
