Most prolific creator (or co-creator) of comic book characters

From the introduction of the Destroyer in August 1941, on to Striperella in 2011 (and beyond), Stan Lee (USA) – sometimes working in collaboration with other artists such as Jack Kirby – has introduced 343 characters to the world through comic books.

Characters include Doctor Doom, Iron Man, Professor X, Goom, Googam and Mangog.
