On 27 November 2024, he covered 614.91 nautical miles (707.62 miles; 1,138.81 km), clocking an average speed of 25.62 knots (29.48 mph; 47.44 km/h).

Simon's singlehanded performance has pushed the record that bit closer to the crewed monohull record of 640 nautical miles (736.49 miles; 1,185.28 km). The record was verified by the World Sailing Speed Records Council (WSSRC).
