Jameis Winston (USA) tied the National Football League (NFL) record for passing touchdowns in a game by a rookie with five while playing the quarterback position for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a 45–17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles (both USA) on 22 November 2015. The other rookie quarterbacks to accomplish the feat are Matthew Stafford of the Detroit Lions in 2009 and Ray Buivid of the Chicago Bears in 1937.
