Dias won three bronze medals on 25–26 August 2021 at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games to take his career tally to 27. He won 14 golds, seven silvers and six bronze. Born with impairments to his upper and lower limbs, Dias didn't learn to swim until he was 16.
