Fastest completion of Gone Home (PC)

British gamer "IGoSlow" completed the PC version of Gone Home (The Fullbright Company, 2013) in a staggering 47.190 seconds on 2 April 2016 – as listed by Speedrun.com. "Walking simulators", in which there are no puzzles to solve or enemies to fight, typically task the player with navigating a narrative and exploring a landscape from a starting point to an ending point. Although speed-running such games usually involves missing out most of the story, Gone Home's developers actively encourage players to complete the game as quickly as possible – even going so far as to create the "Homerunner" achievement/trophy for those who can finish the game in less than a minute.
