Ben Affleck (USA, born 15 August 1972, USA) was 43 years 223 days old when Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice (USA) premiered on 25 March 2016, making him the oldest actor to date to play the character of Batman in a feature film. By comparison, Christian Bale was 30 years old when he played Batman for the first time in Batman Begins (2005), and 37 when The Dark Knight Rises was released in 2012. Adam West was 37 when they played Wayne in Batman (1966), and Michael Keaton was 40 when he played the role for the second time in Batman Returns (1992). Val Kilmer was 36 at the time of Batman Forever (1995), and George Clooney was the same age in Batman & Robin (1997).
