The most consecutive wins of the UEFA Europa League by a manager is three by Unai Emery (Spain) with Sevilla in 2013–14, 2014–15 and 2015–16.
Unai Emery and Sevilla won their third title in St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland, by defeating Liverpool 3–1. In the previous two finals they defeated Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk 3–2 and Benfica 4–2 on penalties following a 0–0 draw. Emery equalled Giovanni Trapattoni as the only coaches to win the UEFA Cup or Europa League three times. In contrast, Trapattoni won his titles over a 14-year span with two different clubs (Juventus and Inter Milan).
