Team Ico’s profound, atmospheric adventure Shadow of the Colossus (2005) challenged players to track and kill a series of 16 largely peaceful colossi. By doing so, the main character, Wander, would have his sweetheart, Mono, brought back from the dead. The game was remade for PS4 for a release in Feb 2018. Developer Bluepoint Games left the story largely unchanged, but updated the graphics. The 13th colossi, known as Phalanx, is still the longest of the lot, but it has been realised in a much more dramatic way. Essentially a flying sandworm, Phalanx has an total body length that has been estimated at 200 metres (656.16 feet).
