The most consecutive 1,500 metres titles won at the Speed Skating Single Distance World Championship by a male skater is three and was achieved by Denis Yuskov (Russia) in 2013, 2015 and 2016.
Prior to Yuskov, the only male skater to have ever defended the 1,500 metres title was Ids Postma (1999 and 2000).
