Only a few facts are public knowledge on the world's most famous and yet secretive custom car, but one that stands out is that its doors are 8 in (200 mm) thick and weigh as much as a Boeing 757's outer cabin door. The United States Presidential Limousine, Cadillac One, or The Beast, is one of the most heavily customised cars in the world. Besides having the thickest doors of any custom car, it also boasts an interior that's 100% sealed to protect the occupants in the event of a chemical attack, a set of rocket-propelled grenades, night-vision optics, a tear-gas cannon, on-board oxygen tanks, an armoured fuel tank filled with foam surroundings to prevent explosion, pump-action shotguns, and bottles of the President's blood type. First used on 20th January 2009, its doors have no key hole and are opened by a secret mechanism known only the US Secret Service.
