The Most Olympic gold medals in canoe sprint in a single games (female) is 3, achieved by Danuta Kozák (Hungary) in the K1, K2 and K4 500 m in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 16–20 August 2016; and equalled by Lisa Carrington (New Zealand) in the K1 200 m and K1 and K2 500 m in Tokyo, Japan, on 3–5 August 2021; and by Carrington again in the K1, K2 and K4 500 m in Vaires-sur-Marne, France, on 8–10 August 2024.
Lisa Carrington won three gold medals for a second consecutive Olympics at the 2024 Games.
