Most teams to participate at a Quidditch World Cup

A total of 29 teams took part in the 2018 International Quidditch Association World Cup, held on 27 June–2 July 2018 in Florence, Italy. These were: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Catalonia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the UK, the USA and Vietnam. This compared to 21 teams in 2016, seven in 2014 and five in 2012.

Uganda were also slated to appear in the competition but were unable to attend owing to issues obtaining visas.
