Published by Marvel in August 1984, Questprobe #1: Featuring the Hulk by Bill Mantlo is the first comic-book ever released as a spin-off to a videogame. The one-off comic relates to Scott Adams' graphic adventure Questprobe featuring The Hulk, which hit home computers in 1984. Further one-off Marvel tales were published with the game's subsequent series entries: Questprobe featuring Spider-Man (1984) and Questprobe featuring Human Torch and the Thing (1985). Additional game and comic tie-ins were mooted but the game's publisher Adventure International sadly went bust in 1985 while still making the fourth game, this time based on The X-Men.
