The Trampe Bicycle Lift or Cyclocable in Trondheim, Norway, is a unique piece of cycling infrastructure that was first installed in 1993 to help users conveniently travel up the side of a 130-m hill. At a length of 128 m (420 ft), this device is the world's longest and only bicycle lift. Users place their right foot on a footplate and are gently pushed upwards at speeds of 2 m/sec (4–5 mph).
