Nintendo's 2001 fighter Super Smash Bros. Melee features an unusual mini-game in which players attempt to whack a sandbag as far as they possibly can up a baseball pitch, having already inflicted damage on it in a 10-second window. In a video uploaded to YouTube in November 2016 (“Falcon HRC 7288.0/2221.3 [WR]”), Mike "HRC typo" Bassett played as Captain Falcon to punch the weakened object a massive 2,221.3 metres up-field. Ironically, Captain Falcon is one of only two characters in the game who can't use a baseball bat to strike a home-run.
