The oldest female boxing gold medallist is Nicola Adams (UK, b.26 October 1982), who was aged 33 years 299 days when she won gold in the flyweight division at the Games of the XXXI Olympiad held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 20 August 2016
Nicola Adams, along with Claressa Shields (USA), is one of only two female boxers to have won two gold medals.
Shields became the youngest ever gold medallist when she picked up gold as a teenager in London 2012.
