In the second round of the US Open on 28 August 2024, Novak Djokovic (Serbia) won the 377th Grand Slam singles match of his career, defeating compatriot Laslo Djere 6–4, 6–4, 2–0 (retired) on Arthur Ashe Stadium. The 24-time Grand Slam champion has earned his wins at Wimbledon (97), the French Open (96), Australian Open (94) and US Open (90) since 2005.
