Marcos Patronelli returned in 2016, having spent time looking after his family business with his brother and two-time winner Alejandro. The three winners of the quads category outside of the Patronelli family are Josef Machacek (who won the inaugural edition in 2009), Ignacio Casale (Chile, 2014) and Rafal Sonik (Poland, 2015).
