The event was supported by the City of Argenteuil, the dairy brand Président, and several regional partners. Measurements were carried out by specialist surveyors using a tacheometer to ensure precision. The record attempt also featured a figure skating performance by French Olympic medallist Philippe Candeloro. Once the measurements were completed, the cake was distributed to the public and quickly consumed.
