The longest time between winning Monster Jam World Finals freestyle titles is eight years and was achieved by Jim Koehler (USA) in the Avenger Monster Truck in 2003 and 2011. That feat was then equalled by Adam Anderson (USA) driving Taz in 2008 and Grave Digger in 2016.

Adam Anderson scored 33 points in the 2016 finals to win by half a point from Damon Bradshaw. His father, Dennis Anderson, finished third. When he won in 2008, he was the youngest ever winner in the freestyle discipline.
