The most consecutive boxing world cruiserweight title defences is 13 and was first achieved by Johnny Nelson (UK) from 15 May 1999 to 26 November 2005. It was equalled by Marco Huck (Germany) from 5 December 2009 to 30 August 2014.
Both fighters were WBO champions. Nelson retired after his 13th defence against Vincenzo Cantatore. Marco Huck lost his title in 2015 when he was KOed by the then undefeated Krzysztof Glowacki.
