For the Diamond Jubilee of the UK's Queen Elizabeth II, a 100-m × 70-m (330-ft × 230-ft) print of a photograph taken of the Royal Family during the Silver Jubilee was erected in front of Sea Containers House in London, UK. The building was under renovation at the time of the Diamond Jubilee (6 February 2012), and the film-based photograph chosen to cover its façade depicted the royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, celebrating the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977. It took a team of eight specialists more than 45 hours to position the separate photographic sections, with the final part being rigged up at 10 a.m. on the morning of 25 May 2012. The photograph stayed in place until the completion of the building renovations in June 2012.
