Most played Xbox videogame on TrueAchievements

Based on the player accounts tracked by the Xbox site TrueAchievements, Halo 3 (Microsoft, 2007) was the most played game on any Xbox console as of 17 February 2017, with 259,000 players having unlocked at least one achievement in the game. This put the Xbox 360 hit ahead of Alexey Pajitnov's puzzler Hexic HD (246,248) and fellow blockbusters Halo: Reach, Grand Theft Auto IV and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (all on Xbox 360). Halo 3 is considered by many players to be their favourite entry to the sci-fi series.
