Gruelling FPS epic Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Xbox One has a daunting 600 achievements (with DLC) for players to complete – more than any release on any Xbox console. Other platform titles with a large tally of challenges include the Chinese edition of the same game (479), Killer Instinct (408), SMITE and Rare Replay (both 200). Achievements range from completing campaigns and co-op levels on various difficulties to triggering hidden musical cues to listening to the Thirsty Grunt talk about his eating habits. According to TrueAchievements, only 592 players of 148,087 tracked had completed the game as of 15 September 2016.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection was released in 2014 and bundles them together with the earlier FPS in the series for Xbox One, making them accessible from a single menu.
