Most Marvel characters in a videogame

Excluding alternative costumed versions of the same character, some 206 heroes, villains and sidekicks from the Marvel cinematic universe and comic-books had been packed into LEGO® Marvel's Avengers (TT Games, 2016), as of August 2016. Characters range from the well-known (Captain America, Black Widow, Daredevil and Thor) to the less familiar (Devil Dinosaur, Fandral, Union Jack and Moon-Boy). New DLC often introduces new stars to the superheroic mix.

The same game holds the record for most playable characters in an action-adventure videogame.
