The longest pair of free-standing balanced cantilevers measures 643.9 m (2,112 ft 6.3 in) and was built by Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors (UK) during the construction of the Queensferry Crossing over the River Forth Estuary between North and South Queensferry, Scotland, UK, as measured on 28 September 2016.
The central tower cantilever was built during construction of the Queensferry Crossing, and has since been joined with the north and south tower sections to complete the bridge.
