Coda is the uttermost difficult mode of the rhythm-based dungeon-dweller Crypt of the Necrodancer and a Low% completion is the hardest variation, restricting players from picking up any items. Such a run was perceived by both fellow gamers and developers alike to be virtually impossible, yet on 21 July 2016 speed-runner "SpootyBiscuit" stunned the gaming world by managing it in a time of 12 minutes 35.04 seconds. The game's programmer Ryan Clark told Kotaku: “I honestly thought that I was being kind of a ******* and that no one would ever beat it... He has defeated my game utterly, and I couldn’t be happier about it”.

"SpootyBiscuit" also finished the first ever Coda run of the game a year earlier in July 2015. As of 26 July 2016, only 14 people had finished the game on this difficulty. "SpootyBiscuit" was the first to achieve it on Low%. In Coda, everything runs at double speed, meaning that the Death Metal boss is especially nasty.
