The greatest distance run on a manual treadmill in 24 hours (male) is 188.13 km (116.89 mi) and was achieved by Pepe Fiamoncini (Brazil) with the support of YoPRO Danone, in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 5 February 2026.
The record was set up on a beach in Rio de Janeiro, where a tent was erected with all the necessary equipment for the athlete to run and stay on a treadmill for 24 hours. There were two more treadmills available for the general public who wanted to run alongside him. We had witnesses every 4 hours, which allowed for accurate verification of all the athlete's movements, including pauses and rest periods.
