Most real-world theme parks recreated in a videogame

The MCParks server is committed to being the most magical place online, and since April 2013, they have welcomed over 450,000 unique guests to their 10 theme parks, recreated at 1:1 scale in the sandbox videogame Minecraft (Mojang, 2011). The full list is: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World; Disneyland and Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort; Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando Resort; and the Busch Gardens Tampa.

MCParks has a staff of over 100 volunteers filling different roles. The 'Imagineers' build the parks, making sure they're accurate to real life, right down to the placement of the guest toilets. 'Technicians' make sure rides, animatronics and shows in the parks go off without a hitch. Finally, 'Guest Relations' are the front of house staff who organise events and speak to guests.
