All 8 goals were scored in competitive games, 7 in World Cup Qualifiers and 1 in the 1997 Copa América (vs Argentina). He is also the only GK to have attempted a freekick at a World Cup (his first attempt was vs Bulgaria in 1998) though was unable to score.
