The most norimaki sushi rolls made in one hour (team) is 4,318, made by Youth League of The Koide Town Society of Commerce and Industry (Japan) at Koide Cultural Hall, in Uonuma, Niigata, Japan, on 7 October 2017.


All norimaki sushi roll pieces were made by 85 volunteers from the town, using 120 kg (264 lb 8.8 oz) of sushi rice, 900 seaweed sheets, cooked eggs and cooked shavings of calabash called kanpyo. All norimaki sushi rolls were made from newly harvested rice this year.
