The largest barbecue/grilling lesson consists of 360 people and was achieved by BIG BBQ PTY LTD (Australia) at Zestiny Farm in Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia on 7 June 2026

BIG BBQ PTY LTD is a volunteer built initiative with goals of promoting sustainable living and healthy lifestyles, all with minimal to no impact on the environment. They believe the "backyard BBQ" is one of Australia's most beloved icons and envision electric grills, organic produce and zero waste, without getting rid of the BBQ spirit. This is exactly what they accomplished at their BBQ lesson. They cooked on electric grills and had an entirely vegetarian menu of recipes. The attempt took place at Zestiny Farm (an organic farm) and was instructed by celebrity Chef Jamie Gannon. Chef Jamie concluded the lesson by asking all participants to take a bite of their veggie burgers, hold them up and say "bloody declicious!" (Some classic Australian slang).
