The most consecutive triple-doubles for an NBA player is 11, achieved by Russell Westbrook (USA) for the Oklahoma City Thunder from 22 January to 14 February 2019. The previous record of nine consecutive triple-doubles, by Wilt Chamberlain (USA) of the Philadelphia 76ers on 8–20 March 1968, had stood for 51 years. Westbrook surpassed it during the Thunder’s 120–111 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on 11 February 2019, when he racked up 21 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists. Over the course of his 11-game streak, he averaged 21.9 points, 13.3 rebounds and 13.5 assists.
