The farthest distance to hit a target with a paper aircraft is 20 m (65 ft 7.4 in) and was achieved by Raman Suri (UK), supported by Yang Shian and Sun Yiheng (both China) at Cranfield University, Cranfield, Bedfordshire, UK, on 26 May 2026
Yang Shian was responsible for making all the paper airplanes, while Sun Yihen was one of the throwers, achieving distances of 18 meters and 19 meters at the event. However, the final record of 20 meters was set by thrower Raman Suri.
