Beating Nintendo Wii to the punch, the SSD Company released the earliest known motion-sensing videogame workout to the home in the form of the XaviX PORT. The innovative console was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2004, and later released in the USA that same August. Three titles were initially available: XaviX Tennis, XaviX Bowling and XaviX Baseball. One year later, SSD added XaviX Golf and XaviX Bass Fishing to the line-up. Unlike the Wii, XaviX PORT required various peripherals to function correctly.
