Most critically acclaimed space-simulation videogame

With a GameRankings score of 85.2%, the ambitious multiplayer space-sim-come-RTS Allegiance (Microsoft, 2000) is the most critically acclaimed space-simulation game. A space-simulation is slightly different to a space-combat sim in that there are more elements to the gameplay than just dogfighting against other spacecraft, such as exploration and trading.
