The largest display of felted stones is 1,150 and was achieved by Musselburgh Riding of the Marches 2016 (UK) in Musselburgh, UK, on 29 May 2016.
The event was organised to engage community groups in crafts. Many Scouting organisations participated as well as members of Headway, a charity for people who have suffered brain trauma. It took four months for all of the felted stones to be made and collected. The finished display took the shape of a horse.
