Launched on 28 August 2015, Disney Infinity 3.0 (Avalanche Software, 2015) was the third release in Disney's toys-to-life series. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens Play Set allows access to further Star Wars-themed levels and content. Gamer "Zimmycakesrtg" (USA) completed a run through the content from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Play Set in a time of 1 hour 2 minutes 40 seconds on 12 January 2016.
To date, there have been three releases in the Disney Infinity series of toys-to-life games series: Disney Infinity, Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (aka Disney Infinity 2.0) and Disney Infinity 3.0.
The game includes a general sandbox mode (called Toy Box mode) in which any Disney Infinity characters purchased by the player can be imported into the game, and a Play Set mode, in which additionally purchased Play Sets, often including new characters, provide access to new game content.
