The highest bicycle speed on a wall of death is 42.94 km/h (26.68 mph) and was achieved by Shanaze Reade (UK), on the set of Channel 4’s Guy’s wall of Death: Live (North One TV, UK), in Louth, Lincolnshire, UK, on 28 March 2016.

Shanaze completed her attempt on one of only two touring Walls of Death remaining in the UK. The track, constructed from Oregon pine in 1995 and belonging to the Ken Fox Troupe, has a diameter of 9.75 metres, giving a circumference of 30.63 metres.
