In one of the central action set-pieces of the 24th official James Bond film Spectre (USA/UK, 2015), Bond (played by Daniel Craig) drives through the streets of Rome at speeds of up to 100 mph in a prototype Aston Martin DB10 – a non-production model of which only 10 were made for use in the making of the film, valued at $4.6 million (£3.17 million). He is pursued by the villain Mr. Hinx (Dave Bautista), who drives a Jaguar C-X75 – another specially produced super-car, with an estimated value of $1 million (£689,000) – giving the vehicles used in the chase a total market value of $5.6 million (£3.86 million).
