Highest tunnel-to-tunnel bridge

The highest tunnel-to-tunnel bridge is the Aizhai Bridge, with a deck height of 336 m (1,102 ft) above the DeHang Canyon. The suspension bridge has a tower-to-tower main span of 1,176 m (3,858 ft) and a total length of 1,534 m (5,033 ft). Located near Jishou, Hunan, China, it is part of the Jishou-to-Chadong expressway and opened to traffic in 2012.

In 2012, Chinese walker Adili Hoshur and two assistants walked, with no safety harnesses, a 1,400-m-long wire running parallel to the Aizhai Bridge 300 m above the DeHang River. In September 2012, the Aizhai Bridge was the site of an international BASE jumping festival that included more than 40 jumpers from 13 countries.
